Thrust ball bearings are designed to take axial (thrust) loads at high speeds, but they cannot take any radial loads. These bearings feature bearing washers with raceway grooves in which the balls move.

The thrust ball bearing is composed of race,shaft washer and steel ball retainer.The one that matches with the axis is called washer.The one that matches with the shell is called the ring.

Thrust ball bearing is a kind of separation bearing. The shaft ring and seat ring can be separated from the cage and steel ball components.

In order to make the bearing function well, first of all, it is necessary to choose the lubrication method suitable for the use conditions and purposes. If only lubrication is considered, the lubricity of oil lubrication prevails.
